The Empire State Building leads the list of the top tourist destinations in New York City. This building was designed by Gregory Johnson and its full structural height reaches 443 meter. It has 6, 500 windows, 73 elevators and contains a total count of 1,860 steps from the ground level right up to the 102nd floor.

The Broadway theatre is one of the most visited tourist attractions that has managed to hold on to the interests of millions. It is a globally famous destination and showcases the best of theatre. Washington Square Park is another name that famously figures in the list of popular tourist stops. It acts as a major landmark in the Manhattan neighborhood of Greenwich Village and is also a flourishing hub of cultural activities. It spreads over an immense area of around 9.75 acres and is operated by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.

The Rockefeller Center and Times Square are two more spots that are known to be visited widely by tourists all around the year. The Rockefeller Center is a complex containing 19 commercial buildings located in the center of Midtown Manhattan. This great site in the city of New York was declared a National Historic Landmark in1988. The Rockefeller Center, built by the Rockefeller family, symbolizes the modernist method of architecture and blends it subtly with a capitalistic feel.

The Times Square poses a major intersection point in Manhattan and is at the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue. The western part of the commercial area of Midtown Manhattan is made up by the entirety of the Times Square, a globally known landmark.
